One more beach painting before summer leaves Q-Q This time, It’s a trio portrait of Aquors First years. Picked my favorite girls in this group. Who are your favorite ones? I usually struggle to make colors look realistic, make shadow and light align, yet finish with the whole color scheme pleasing to my eye, in synchronicity. Cause I’m not a fan of vibrant saturated colors. Here each girl’s swimsuit  and hair is of completely different colors and it was kind of hard to balance them to the light turquoise water in the background. It was at the very end of the painting process when I added some blue here and there to distant parts of each girl and started to like how colors turn out.

Who else misses blue ocean? Had my mum and best friend in my mind while coming up with this curly witch in black, so now she resembles me of them both (´ ω `♡) They both are so pretty Can’t choose between muted and vivd versions, let’s upload both!
