babygirl i'm gonna be honest, daddy can no longer distinguish the difference between all of these big boobily CBBE 3BA physics bodyslide presets on Nexus dot com, yet more and more of the same ones keep getting made each day.
i spent half of today painstakingly fixing someone else's armor mod and i think i'm now dead inside
yooo is there any boob expert on this website, i need to offer a rebuttal for this chap
there's a trend I noticed that Nexus users deem certain mod authors as "bitchy", "entitled", "hard to work with", "having an inflated ego", "throwing a temper tantrum" and the like
and you know what, most of the time it started with the mod author answering with a slightly colder tone than usual to a bug report or an inane comment on their mod page.
i try to not show my annoyance on that site. i don't want to be categorized as "a bitchy mod author" because that's not who I want to be, that's not the image I want to curate, 99% of the time I genuinely want to help people. including helping dumb people who just started modding yesterday. but I'm a human too; I'm not a professional team of modders who are always ready 24/7 to help mod users cater my mod to their specific taste.
also the world sucks and my health sucks. I don't have perfect infallible good mood all the time. wow, shocking.
there is no point to this post i'm just Tired. not even salty or annoyed anymore. just tired.
giving myself full reign to give Oris' body textures so many scars, not as a part of cool edgy backstory but because for a long time he fights in mage robes and not armor
when i'm in a "make unoptimized hairstyles" competition and my opponent is dint999....
expecting diversity in modding spaces is a fool's errand because of the niche, specialized nature of modding itself.
imagine going to a fashion designer who is known for making wedding dresses, and then expecting them to make you a party dress, maybe even berating them for not being diverse enough because they only make wedding dresses, they "don't want to broaden their horizon", etc.
no, jackass, that fashion designer specializes in making wedding dresses. not all types of dresses.
if you narrow your expectation, you might even see that the wedding dresses they make are diverse in their own right--different colors, different styles. sure, maybe they have the same floor-length cut and slim silhouette. but if you narrow your expectation and expect nothing more than a wedding dress, that fashion designer is doing a good job.
modding is, and will always be, filled with modders who cater to their own specific niche. and people have different standards of what makes something unique and diverse. if a modder doesn't make something that suites your taste, move along and find another. i'm not gonna walk into a KFC and expect the waiter to serve me nasi goreng.
