I feel like it’s very interesting that in the cinematic of the duck and bunny and the board of directors and such, that the animals are just heads. They’re disguises and what’s underneath seems to be completely solid black which is what the rest of the board of directors appears as too.

Yknow who else is solid black? The Purgatory Watcher. And to a degree Cucurevil could count too

Also the dark matter infection appears to turn people solid black as well. Which is a big contrast between the Federation workers and Cucurucho who are pure white.

Ofc all of them also have no faces. The Island heads just use animal facades to appear more palatable than a blank face.

My absolutely batshit theory is that Agent 18 is connected to the watcher. Proof? Haha.....

1. He called Phil a team leader, I've never seen fed workers refer to the islanders time on egg island let alone that specifically

2. Doesn't care about the eggs, and that's sus

3. Was helping with the egg island/watcher investigation (I think? My memories hazy) he could've sabotaged it from the inside

4. The way in the prison he's (trying) to pit the prisoners against each other using tasks.

5. Is stinky

Im not even sure if turtle helmet guard is also agent 18 but he's calling Phil & tubbo mate and being as antagonistic as 18 soooooo.

Do I think it's true? No. Do I think it's a kickass crack theory? Yes.

i feel like i struggle a lot when it comes to making robot-type designs since i don't have a lot of experience, but i really wanted to be able to convey my federation worker headcanons...

i like to imagine theyre robots (despite more stuff kinda contradicting this as time has passed :P) BUT i also have a headcanon that in the QSMP world, technology is advanced to the point where it is cheaper to rig up a human body into a robotic shell than to create a whole android from scratch... so while some of the federation workers are entirely artificial, even more of them are half organic. the half organic ones also will sometimes(?) always(?) use the brain of the original person they come from. it's supposed to be wiped and essentially used as an advanced computer, but the wiping process is highly imperfect, so it's supplemented with manual reprogramming and training for the workers as well (which... also can and has failed. LOL)
