They All Want My Autograph || Claire & Kendall
The worst part about these dares was that they had to involve other people Claire would rather not interact with. Not only was it entirely unnecessary to be any kind of specific in a dare, it made it all the more cumbersome to perform them. But nonetheless, here she was, seeking exactly who she'd promised to stay away from. Life was funny that way.
It took a bit of awkward stalking around the island until she was able to catch him unaware and without company near, what a surprise, a secluded area of the island. As if he didn't spend enough time wandering creepily vacant sections in search of people to bug. So she grabbed him by the arm and dragged him behind a dense group of foliage, armed with a lightweight jacket and sharpie. It was go time.
"Don't run away or I'll tear you apart, I swear on the entirety of Mount Olympus, damn you," she hissed, shoving him in front of her, "Look, Kendall, I realize you've got weird issues with me right now and generally, I would honor the insistence on minimal contact, but I've got something that needs to be done and I will get it done, so help me almighty Zeus." Technically, there wasn't any real need to be as aggressive as she was being, but some things were easier to deal with when you're on edge than others. And Claire wasn't really one to fuck around when she had more pressing matters to deal with. "Just hold my jacket for a second, will you?" Taking stock of her current inventory, she tried steadily to calm her nerves. It was just a stupid dare, right? No one would care, and it'd be over before she knew it.
