Release is getting closer. Looks like there will be a lot of functionality in the “Cortex Cloud”, not just preset back-up. Initially this will be the only way you can load IRs and back-up presets, this functionality will eventually come with the desk top editor, which is supposed to be released sometime after launch.

I’m on the 1st tier preorder. Should be shipping in the next month or so. Can’t wait! “Traditional” guitar modeling, Neural Capture (a la Kemper profiling), touch screen and easy to use interface, built-in WiFi, cloud updates and back-up. A really forward leaning product. If it sounds as good as Neural’s plugins (and there’s no reason to think it won’t), this thing should kick serious butt. My Helix and other plugins may not get much use.
