i think rome would be immediately fascinated by kieran. literally a guy straight out of a fantasy novel?? he has a hard time realizing kieran is NOT some magical wizard, but still… i think he’d still say it as a compliment. always in awe of him, and that’s hard to do with rome. but he’s super chill about it. romeo is a cool guy, and super independent… but ofc, being the first person he encounters whenever he teleports or whatever on alternia that means romeo wld def be stuck to kieran’s side for the most part.
i think it would take a while for romeo to realize and verbalize his feelings to kieran because he’s not really the one to ever confess first - he’s ROMEO, after all! but i think with kieran he’d take initiative. one of my favorite things with human/troll love is that the human teaches their troll partner how soft human love is. it makes me tear up actually!!! romeo is unused to being vulnerable though he’d want kieran to know him unlike any human did on earth. he doesn’t have to be cool in front of kieran - that reputation was left behind at home. and while he still misses earth, he’d find a new home in kieran.
