At 11 days old, my baby #quails are starting to get their feathers! 💕 There was a mysterious die-off in the brooder on Saturday night and during the day on Sunday -- lost 12 overnight and 3 more during the day yesterday. All the ones who had died were ones who hadn't started getting their feathers, so I'm assuming that it was some kind of "failure to thrive" thing? Not really sure, but I'll figure it out. Meanwhile, I had made some adjustments to the temperature and humidity, and replaced the straw in the brooder again.
