Quality Control Manager
Adecco is currently hiring for a Quality Control Manager in Toronto, ON. Our client is a large, reliable, and reputable multinational pharmaceutical company. This is urgent hiring, 2-year contract position paying $45.00/hour.
Quality Control Manager includes:
Responsible to ensure alignment of the Quality Control Planning with organizationally established priorities for product and project delivery
Scheduling activities are contained within SAP/LIMS focusing in the 0 - 15 weeks horizon for all areas.
Implement best practices in the Supply Chain planning environment balancing Quality Control capability and customer needs.
Generate and deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify QC testing trends and drive improvements for delivery and activity of our products and projects to internal and external customers.
Provide weekly testing requirements to QC labs based on priorities from the supply chain, bulk manufacturing, Formulations, Filling and Packaging (FF&P), critical stability and independent demand, inter-site test requests, etc.
Provide support for the S&OP process. Highlight issues/concerns at Industrial Operations (IO) schedule control meetings.
Quality Control Manager Qualifications:
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Engineering / Science combined
8 years of relevant working experience within the pharma/biopharmaceutical industry related to qualification or quality systems.
3 years’ managerial experience (pharmaceutical environment would be a definite asset)
Working knowledge and hands-on experience with qualification activities, supplier quality and quality system management.
Familiarity with strategic planning, balanced judgment and risk analysis.
Background in manufacturing and development, Regulatory Affairs, and/or Quality Control.
Working experience with SAP and LIMS for QC labs and troubleshooting for both systems
Must be able to work strategically in a fast-paced environment and make balanced decisions related to quality.
A strong customer focus and ability to prioritize and adapt to business and manufacturing needs are required
Excellent personal and time management skills and be able to handle multiple projects at a time.
