Okay… I meant that I don’t care if la la land got an Oscar? The posts on my dash gloating about making the actors leave the stage are what bother me… I fully believe that moonlight was a great movie? I am happy it won, I just dislike the posts that gloat about how bad the cast would’ve felt to think they had a reward but not really.

Cool. But that’s not what your post said. What your post read like, to me, was that people shouldn’t be celebrating Moonlight after an evening of Hollywood backpatting and asskissing. What your post said to me was that people being excited (and yeah, okay, gloating) over Moonlight winning were just a part of Tumblr Discourse and therefore A Bad Thing.

A man who was arrested for sexual harassment and molestation won best actor. LaLa Land swept a bunch of shit it should not have. Let people be happy about a queer POC film winning.

There’s a time and a place to interject that sort of opinion and it was not then or there. Because that just came off as bitchiness.
