THE DAMN CIRCLE WITH A DOT
I opened up my Cliffnotes GRE Cram Plan yesterday and started the math section within the diagnostics test. Question number two made me feel like an idiot. There were two odd symbols in the equation provided. The idea is that using these equations, you had to figure out the relationship between a value in column A and a value in column B.
Two the symbols were:
a circle with a dot in the middle
a circle with an x in the midde
Yes so what the heck do they mean?
After researching a bit, I found in another book (GRE for Dummies) that those are in fact, variables!!!!! The Cliffnotes GRE Cram Plan does not mention them or explain them whatsoever!
I'll take a picture of it tonight and explain how to solve for it in my next post..
