They'd probably die of hypothermia. In the process of cryopreservation, they need to be frozen without the formation of ice crystals.

It seems like they'd suffocate or starve if they were trapped for that long.
that's what i always thought - or else they'd just freeze to death the same way someone would if they were buried in an avalanche or something
