hi guys!

i’ve been thinking about creating a post where we can all share the content that has been saving us during quarantine. anything from movies, tv shows, albums, songs, to fanfiction, books, podcasts, youtube channels anything that has been taking our minds off of things a little. this way we can see what others have been liking and check it out ouselves.

so im gonna start with mine! 

movies: 

- i’ve rewatched the twilight saga and the hunger games, it definitely was good for the soul

- shrek! every single shrek movie

- notting hill, one of my favorite classics

- dangerous lies and the half of it, two of netflix new ones

- the lucky one

tv shows:

- elite, the new season came out the day my quarantine started so... finished that in a day lol

- this is us (season 4), this is a m u s t

- sex and the city, wanted to finally binge all the seasons instead of catching it every now and then on tv

- hollywood and valeria, new ones on netflix

- outer banks!!

- virgin river, kinda like a nicholas sparks movie turned into series

albums:

- three. two. one. by lennon stella, please listen to this!

- future nostalgia by miss dua lipa, well... this is probably the highlight of the year, can change my mood with just one song

- ray of light by madonna, this 1998 classic has made it’s way back to me during quarantine and i feels fresher than ever

- sticky & sweet tour by madonna too, I’ve basically been going down memory lane and it’s been very comforting. also the mdna tour live album 

- after hours by the weeknd, not my favorite of his but I’m still listening to it

- malibu nights by LANY, yup im still listening to it all the time

songs:

- souvenir by selena gomez, this is from rare deluxe but it should have been on the standar version, it’s so good

- when you’re ready by shawn mendes, for some reason this has been my comfort song

- older than I am by lennon stella, I wrote thing song

youtube: 

im very into fashion and beauty channels or just watching girls declutter something lol

do u have any podcast recs for quarantine content?

yes! these are some i've liked and that have taught me something, I usually listen to them and then write down quotes hehe

- "taking control of your destiny with adelaide kane"  she talks a lot about failure and taking the pressure off of things and anxiety, the thing she said that i wrote down was "do the work beforehand and then relax. do the work to the best of your hability and once you've done the work, let it go. don't stress about it anymore"

- "cleo wade on self love and forgiveness"  i wrote down "i love my freedom way too much to stay shackled into non forgiveness"

- "sophia bush on activism and finding your voice" 

- "how emily ratajkowski transformed into a thriving businesswoman"  i really liked the way she talked about feminism and people don't take her seriously, also business

- this isn't a podcast but it's practically the same format:  she's one of my fave youtubers and content creators and anne v "how to stop fearing change with anne v”, @losttinthelights and I really liked their advice on it, we felt really inspired

also @sbawnmendes has recommended me claudia and finneas' podcast show, i haven't had time to listen to it yet

@adelaidestreets recommended "- Zane and Heath (Unfiltered) // they’re technically a podcast but I watch the video recordings they upload on youtube which i think enhances the whole show"
