Summary:
On paper, Dean Winchester has the ideal life. Nice house, nice family, cheerleader girlfriend, and the new senior status of being quarterback of his high school football team. He seems to have it made. Meanwhile, Castiel is stuck living with his alcoholic aunt at the Pine Ridge Trailer Park Community, grappling with his own steadily dependent drug addiction to cover up wounds that should have been long since healed.
Swiftly, Dean’s picture-perfect life starts to crumble when his mother’s illness takes a turn for the worst and he realizes he has nobody he can turn to within his performative group of friends. And soon, Castiel finds himself questioning everything he’d come to know about the boy he’d grown to hate when it seems that he’s just the ‘nobody’ Dean’s been looking for.
