Feelings on Guiltrip episode and Roses costume?
I liked it okay, no one was really pinpointed as being “at fault” which was a relief, little annoyed at the complete lack of Lila interaction (even just being annoyed the focus isn’t on her?) but it is Episode 11 so maybe we missed an episode of everyone kinda...getting over Lila? (Press X to Doubt). The animation didn’t really go hard (and uh went a little soft and WEIRD in some shots) and there weren’t any impressive action scenes so maybe that’s why I’m walking away a bit “meh”.
I like that Rose demonstrated her “power of positivity” before she got a Miraculous. And Rose and Daizzi’s meeting was super cute.
Pigella’s outfit is growing on me, I wish they stuck with the pinks that Rose usually wears instead of making it so pale and it’s a little jarring to see her blonde hair change to a different blonde right in front of me, but the “Bo Peep meets The Jetsons” look is growing on me. And her little bounce into her final transformation pose is super cute. Though I wish they went a little harder on the transformation music, it was pretty forgettable, and if they put a little more edge into it it would’ve made her headbanging fit even more.
Her power...I’m on the fence. Before Gang of Secrets, I’d find it kinda pointless, but now that fighting off your akuma is canon...👀 It might be beneficial to have someone on the team who can remind the akuma of what makes them happy. Might as well fight emotional manipulation with emotional manipulation.
