Was scrolling thru my FB when a wild PQ appears. So yeah, I saw this on Facebook from the page of National Theatre and I hyperventilated for a while, I mean come on?? PQ in my FB timeline??? A high quality picture of Philip Quast donning his Georges Seurat look????? What a good day!! I also took a double take because I did not recognize him at first and was like IS THAT PQ????? IS THAT PQ AS SEURAT???? HOLD UP HOLD UPPP👀👀👀👀

But on a serious note, I am still wondering how PQ is doing rn regarding the news about Sondheim's passing🥺

I mean Sunday in the Park with George was one of Philip Quast's earlier roles...and it was written by Sondheim...

Aside from that, PQ also starred in multiple Sondheim plays too!! Sweeney Todd, Follies, and that play where he's a roman general, that play with a long title yknow. I also remembered an interview where PQ mentioned how Sondheim taught him how to Judge Turpin (I hope my brain is not making this up, I'm pretty sure I saw an interview somewhere in yt) and it showed how much respect and adoration PQ has for Sondheim🥺

In short, Sondheim's works were a big part of his life and career so I hope he's doing well about the news. Wanna give big hugs to the big man🤧
