Fic ask: which of your fics is really really close to your heart or means the most to you and why? 💛💛💛
Phew, this was hard to answer! I think a fic that’s close to my heart that I don’t talk about as much is so lay your weary hand on mine. I was really excited to see Hunter in Rewind, but equally bummed that Bobbi wasn’t there, so this fic was a nice bit of catharsis for me. It’s also my most popular Huntingbird-centric fic, which continues to surprise me, but not in a bad way, so - it’s close to me for that reason too. <3

this is the time where all of my irl friends groan because they know exactly what’s coming next: when i was abroad...
but in all seriousness, I guess...yes? I did live in the UK for six months while I was studying abroad last spring, and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I can’t wait to go back overseas and go to all of the different countries I didn’t get to experience when I was over there!

I suppose if I enjoy a thing, I will go all in and doesn’t really consider the alternatives. But if I’m not interested, it’s really hard to sway me. Which... has its ups and downs.

Oh dear I haven’t read whole books in a while. Don’t really have the attention span for it, and reading fics is more fun--why start a new story when you can read your favourite characters in 90000 different depictions?
But I do love interesting non-fiction books. One of my fave is Fan Fiction and Fan Communities in the Age of the Internet. It’s not the most up-to-date in its discussion of fandom dynamics, but it’s my first glimpse into fan studies and explains so much of what I have observed on tumblr and ao3 :)
