As many of you may have noticed we’ve experienced a lineup change to our live band in recent months. I want to thank Bobby Warlock for all of the time and dedication he gave to Mistwalker over the past several years. He has since moved on to focus on his own band, Skryptvres.
I’d like to officially welcome Iris Verge to the fold as our new live guitar player. As the vocalist of Twin Banshee, the guitarist/vocalist of Palm Sander, and bassist/vocalist of Unsucked, as well as solo noise-maker of Detritus, they’ve already got their hands quite full, but have been an excellent addition to the band during our recent Ontario tour earlier this month as well as the Maritimes tour we did back in September.
This Saturday at Piranha Bar will be our first Montreal show with Iris, alongside Ashbreather, Serpentine Cerberus, Divinations, and Twin Banshee, and I hope everyone gives them a warm welcome. Let’s rip and tear into a new era!
