Eric Fleming Filmography (1955-1966)
Finally, conclusive proof that the atmosphere on Venus is composed entirely of hairspray and aggressive glamour. Here we see Zsa Zsa Gabor demonstrating the standard safety protocol for interplanetary travel: a thigh-high slit red gown and a look of utter disdain for the laws of physics. Who needs a pressurized suit when you have that much attitude? The background crew seems to be armed with weaponized curling irons, or perhaps high-velocity leaf blowers, ready to defend the galaxy against the tyranny of sensible footwear and drab colors. It is truly the golden age of sci-fi, where the oxygen is optional, the budget is questionable, but the lipstick is absolutely mandatory.
