Cinema Doll: What makes a movie really enjoyable for you?

I love artistic scenes, I love watching things that are visually appealing. I also love thought provoking movies.

Day Dream Carnival: What do you daydream about the most?  

So many things. Potential fan fictions I could write, adventures I could go on, books and stories I could write. Conversations I could have or have had in the past. I daydream so much, it’s probably what I spent most of my time doing.

22. Where would you like to travel?I would like to see more of Austria. Perhaps explore Scandinavia.

100. How are you feeling?Really anxious.

146. Was today a good day?It’s only 08:12, I wish today would be good, but I have a very strong feeling that it won’t be.

lantern - how did you meet your best friend? What were your first impressions of each other?

I was 12 and at church. He came to preach (yes, he’s a bit older than me!) and I still remember some of the service even though it was 13 years ago. He was energetic and funny, bordering on insane (don’t tell him I said that). But we didn’t become friends then, that would have been weird … a pre-teen and an adult man? He joined our church as a minister six years ago, which is when I got to know him a little better. However, it was in 2013/14 when we started to get close. I was in hospital and he wrote me cards and letters every day. EVERY DAY FOR FOUR MONTHS. Serious, who does that? After I was discharged, I became his little “project”. He wanted to help me get better (still does) and started taking me on weekly trips to London. I found going on trains absolutely terrifying, now I can do it almost without thinking (Er… as long as someone is with me!). What started as a supportive relationship has blossomed into true friendship. He helps me, I help him, we laugh, have fun and so on. I cannot imagine life without him.

harvest - what fictional character do you most identify with? Why?

Why does my mind always go blank when I get asked about fictional characters? I’ve read over 100 books this year, you’d think I’d remember at least one? I guess I identify a little with Liesel Meminger in The Book Thief because she loved to read. I don’t think I’m as brave as she was though.

bonfire - describe your dream house.

Clean and spider free.

apple cider: if you could throw a party, and invite absolutely anyone, who would they be?

I’m not really big on parties, but...All my friends for a start, I don’t have that many but I love the ones I have. Some of my family, because their nice. Chris Evans because then Steph could meet him and I’d love to see her face. Um... I’d love to meet the cast of Night Vale, probably some of my fav authors to because I think they’d be cool to talk to. Meh... don’t know who else.

thanksgiving: what is something/someone you’re the most thankful for? any particular reason?

You, steph. Steph is the friend I’ve known for the longest and I love that she’s stuck by me for so long and through so much and you all don’t know how freaking grateful I am for her friendship, love, and support. :D I’m always thankful for my family and friends, I mean, to me my friends are my family, you’re all so important and I honestly couldn’t keep going everyday if I didn’t have them all.

apple picking: if you could go anywhere, where would it be and why?

There are so many real places I’d love to visit. But if I could visit anywhere, I think I’d want to visit someone magical like out of my favourite book, Howl’s Moving Castle. Honestly, being able to visit some of the places I’ve made up in my head would be the most amazing thing ever.

Leopard gecko: Where is your calm space?

Right now, I don’t really have one. I’m suffering from crippling anxiety and never feel calm. Usually, my calm space is in my bedroom, lying on my bed. 

Rat snake: Why did you start your blog?

My brother’s (ex)girlfriend signed up, so my sister and I did too. 

Glass frog: What is the view from your bedroom window?

Mine is the only bedroom that looks over our back garden. I can see the vegetable patch, the shed, the garage, grass, blackberry bushes, overgrown plants (haha) etc. I can also see down the road. We live on the corner of a cross road.

6. Are you an optimist, realist, opportunist, or pessimist?Well, a pessimist mostly. But then I suffer from depression. However, if it is someone else facing a bad situation, I always seem to find the good in it and remain optimistic. Basically, I’m weird.

9. What’s your aesthetic?I don’t think I really have one. It changes daily.

18. Comfort book?Be A Unicorn. I like looking at the illustrations.

Hogwarts: Where’s your favorite place in the world?My friend’s house.

Slytherin: Talk about your greatest ambition.To be noticed, in a positive way, for my writing.

Defense Against the Dark Arts: What would you guess your patronus is? Why?A Phoenix because, even though I get knocked down time and time again, I rise from the ashes.

Amortentia: What would your amortentia smell like?Maybe melted chocolate? Nutella?

24. What movie would you use to describe your life?At the moment … Robots. I could do with a few spare parts or an upgrade to get rid of this back pain!
25. Is there something you have dreamed of doing for a long time? Why haven’t you done it?Falling in love. Getting married. Having kids. But mental illness is a thing. And nobody loves me.

45. What was the last book you read?A book about British sign language. Also, The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer.
