riana: the fluorescent lights flickering overhead paint ghosts over your skin. they hurt your eyes when you stare too long at their amorphous forms; you look away, pay for your chips, and hurry out the door with the cashier’s eyes burning into your back. the little bell jingles an ominous farewell. back in the car, back on the road, driver’s side window down to let in the salty air that settles bitter in the back of your mouth when you breathe in. you’re still hoping to hear a familiar voice come over the radio, but all you get is static, and the occasional weather report. today: partially cloudy, with a 30% chance of acid rain.

no bc after getting my driver license i stopped driving bc i was too scared of traffic. so i never actually practiced to become a good driver. and now i dont a car so i dont even know when this will happen :( i was so happy on getting my license but then this happened… life sucks am i right
