A Quick Note to My Lovely Followers:

First, I want to thank whoever is kind enough to follow my silly, little blog @queenofthedramedies and enjoy some of the bits and pieces that I enjoy, and the occasional writing. However, I have a BIG ask for many of you. If you would be so kind as to check out my other blog, here, on Tumblr @herturnfilms. 

Yet, again, I am about to embark on a fundraising project. I need all of the support I can get from my followers and anyone else who might be interested in what I am trying to accomplish here, with HTF. 

I will be  grateful to anyone who takes the time to check out the blog, or who leaves a kind word of support, because this work is trying, draining, but well worth all the stress in the end. 😍

Update On-Going Project:

I have few bites on the line, but I can use more help.

If you are a writer/fan/fan-artist of The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead or Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, please contact me.

This project--one that can rock the world of film (in a small way)--will not happen without people getting up and saying "I will help." It does not matter how big or small the contribution is--all that matters is that you say "Yes, women have a right to be filmmakers. Yes, they have a right to better representation." 

And this is not just about film. This is about being a female in business. If you want to get your foot in the door--no matter whether you want to work in IT or to own a café, you have to say "I, too, want a seat at the table. I will work for it. I will earn it and I will not allow anyone to tell me "no."

If there is no door to walk through; make one.

I Have a Confession:

Hello. My name is Jessica... Wait a minute, this isn't A. A., is it?

Okay. Start over. Big, deep breath... I have a confession to make...

Are you ready to hear it?

Yes.

Are you certain?

It's big. It's a huge confession.

No. I don't believe you. You don't look ready.

What do you mean you're ready? You've got that thing going, the thing with your eyebrows.

Oh, come on. You know the thing.

You're doing it, right now.

Seriously! Do you want me to get a mirror.

*Leaves to get mirror.*

*One hour later*

What were we talking about?  

Your eyebrows.
