Update On-Going Project:

I have few bites on the line, but I can use more help.

If you are a writer/fan/fan-artist of The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead or Buffy, the Vampire Slayer, please contact me.

This project--one that can rock the world of film (in a small way)--will not happen without people getting up and saying "I will help." It does not matter how big or small the contribution is--all that matters is that you say "Yes, women have a right to be filmmakers. Yes, they have a right to better representation." 

And this is not just about film. This is about being a female in business. If you want to get your foot in the door--no matter whether you want to work in IT or to own a café, you have to say "I, too, want a seat at the table. I will work for it. I will earn it and I will not allow anyone to tell me "no."

If there is no door to walk through; make one.

I want to change the world. I want to throw this tiny pebble into history and watch the ripples flow outward.

Fanfiction Fundraiser:

Hello to anyone who reads this post!

I would like to begin a fundraiser but I need a series of things to do that: like people. I need lots and lots and lots of people.

I need people to be interested in the fundraiser: Would you, the fans, be interested in sending in prompts--drabbles of 100-3,000 words to your favorite fanfic writers, who were willing, and able to devote their time to creating works, for you, for a fundraiser?

I need fan-artists who are willing to devote their skills with sketches and technology that I do not know the name of, but I am in awe of your talent. Would you be interested in being that artist?

Would you like stories from The Vampire Diaries, The Originals, Game of Thrones, Orange is the New Black, The Walking Dead and from any other place I can get permission to be able to write works for--from the copyright holders?

If you are a fanfic writer or an artist--would you devote your time and skills to be part of the first wave of a multi-tiered fundraising effort/cause, ending in a new film company that is devoted to the creation of jobs for women filmmakers and men who are not afraid to work for us/with us? Are you willing to say: I care about women and I support their growth in all fields?
