It weaves the epic tale of #Ramayana through a melding of music, dance, storytelling, and ornate costumery. The history of this great dance has been preserved through performances lasting throughout centuries. . In 2005, #QueenSirikit organized the revival of Khon and assembled a scholarly research team to discover what the costumes might have looked like in the past. After the historical evidence had been collected, specialists were selected to design new costumes to fit contemporary adults, thus helping keep this treasured tradition as authentic as possible.
