STONED SHOWER REVELATION. YESS!!!!!
1. I am never going to think of you as completely male, and if you eventually want me to...this will make me very sad. .....and less importantly I am never going to think of myself as typically or fully female. Also I have no idea what these words mean and it all seems like playing dress up to me. But we should all present ourselves as we wish and as we feel comfortable and fuck anyone who doesn't think we should be the happiest, best versions of ourselves! Being strong or dominate are not masculine characteristics to me, they are just characteristics. And I will always have "masculine" characteristics, and the "opposite"- and probably always dress and look like a girl because it makes me feel confident- to look feminine but be stronger than I ever knew I could be. You will always be kind and nurturing and compassionate. I don't think these are "feminine" traits. They are just traits.
2. I don't think we, you or I or anyone- should fall into any gender binary that we are so opposed to. And it confuses me when we pick one of 2 genders.....
There should be like 100 genders, or more. And the same with sexuality.
3. I don't know why I am freaking out about my sexuality, because sexually- I prefer you. Also, I love you, which is pretty damn cool.
4. Although my identity is important to me - it is not solely defined by how I label myself sexually or emotionally or by my gender. I think I want to call myself a lesbian so badly because I want to smash the damn patriarchy. But I need to stop generalizing. You being "male" does not threaten ME being "female." AGAIN- what the fuck do these words mean? WE can smash the patriarchy in our own unique way- something wildly revolutionary.
In fact, it helps me- because you can show the word a different sort of man that those I knew. A man that respects women. That doesn't categorize people by gender. That is non-judgmental. That can show his emotions. That can be vulnerable and submissive, or the opposite.... and can be gentle, yet strong.
5. Before the spark of duality, before black contrasts with white, there is something that creates the divide. Something that merely exists. And this is our true essence. The other parts, 1/2 and 1/2 or black or white or male or female, we all possess both and display and show them in different ways.
6. I love you endlessly. Thank you for teaching me so much about myself just by simply being YOU!
Question
Hey- tumblr...what do you think about queer/ lesbian women dating trans guys and being perceived as straight? Can the guy be happy with someone who ultimately feels gay? Can the girl be happy with someone who identifies and passes as male??
HYPOTHETICAL HERE; I love my boyfriend no matter what, we are discussing this...
I wonder if gender and sexuality will ever really make sense philosophically in my brain. I think not.
