Hi,
I’m Phil, a transgender queer refugee, reaching out with a heartfelt request this festive season. Life in the refugee camp is incredibly difficult for our LGBTIQ community. As the year comes to a close, we’re facing unique challenges traders in the camp are closing early for the holidays, and prices for food and essentials are skyrocketing.
This year, we’re dreaming of something extraordinary: a special Christmas and end-of-year meal to share as a community. For many of us, this could be our last celebration here in Africa as we await resettlement in safer places.
We need your help to make this dream a reality. A small donation can go a long way:

• $25 gives three people the joy of a delicious meal together.
