when i did psychology we got taught CHIN MODE which means you CHange the INdependent variable and Measure or Observe the DEpendent variable if that is any help~

as in i set up/find a fitting environment for an experiment and create the circumstances and that is the independent variable and the result of that is the dependent variable? because then i think i understand!
