Some before and afters
I’m always forgetting to take before shots of work that I get, but i have a couple...
This ^^ is a prom dress that was ordered online and came in with not-nude “nude” mesh bodice that did not work smoothly at all, so I went to the fabric store and bought a shimmering tulle that was a color closest to my client’s skin tone that helped the style work the way she hoped for.
This is Christin, she owns the cutest resale boutique in Chicago [Savvy Seconds and Firsts] and hosted a Pinning Party for Sweetlime (Pinning Party - a party in which the guests bring clothes for me to alter. I pin the garment during the party and deliver them when they’re finished.)
Christin had this dress that she actually had altered twice before but she still wasn’t feeling it. So we decided to separate it completely. I shaped the top to a smoother fit and adjusted the skirt.
