The Leaky Cauldron Wendy & Remus Lupin @queerwolflupin
It had been a quick moment last month the day before the full moon when she had randomly met the gaze of someone in Diagon Alley. It had been only for a moment but Wendy had had the sudden thought that he was a werewolf too that she couldn’t explain. There had just been something to the look in his eyes and the pallor of his skin that was so familiar to her that she had just known. But she hadn’t approached him, she didn’t dare risk making a mistake and outing herself in the middle of Diagon Alley. She knew how lucky she had been to be able to keep her condition quiet thus far. She wasn’t about to ruin it.
Which was why she had been startled when she walked into the Leaky Cauldron to get dinner and saw him sitting in a booth in the back by himself. She had found herself looking in the crowd to see if she saw him a few times since that day, but she had never recognized him. But he was sitting there in the corner and Wendy didn’t know what to do. Should she go and introduce herself? What if she had been wrong? Or what if he was like Fenrir Greyback? She didn’t know many werewolves, really just Clara, so she had no idea what they were like.
With a pounding heart, Wendy finally made the decision to just go for it, and made her way towards the booth. “Hi,” she greeted, her voice soft. “I’m Wendy. I um...can I sit?”
