if you are jewish girl, and not married, can you still wear head coverings?
There’s nothing against it, and if you want to, why not?
If the head covering is for reasons of expressing Jewish identity, personally, I’d urge you to find a more traditional way of expressing your Judaism or one that’s a communal norm, because I feel that much of the meaning in Judaism comes from one or both of tradition and community (unless it’s a norm in your community, in which case, that’s so cool! what’s your community?). But those are just my personal feelings. Yes, there’s nothing in the law that forbids it, as far as I know.
** Edit: Because you specified not married, my mind went to the head coverings married women wear, i.e. tichels and sheitels (scarves and wigs). If you mean a covering for prayer, like a kippah, then I guess message me back?
