Hey, it's this guy again!
So, my father found some lost lore to this guy in the form of a parody news-clipping that his Youth Pastor had made, including that his full name is "Duck Duck".
So, I decided to make this with some of that.
Said clipping also included some art of the original design which... looks odd.
Migratory Troubles
(An original fiction) [Prompt: You always have a plan]
“How did we get lost.”
The mallard and the duck were stuck in the middle of nowhere. The leading theory was that they’d entered Ohio, but the surroundings were very generically Midwest.
“How. The nuts… Did we…. Get lost… We’re birds! We should know south north!”
The duck looked about.
“Yeah…”
“Do you have a plan for this situation?"
“… Uh…”
“Come one, Quest! You always got a plan!”
Now the general plan Quest Duck had was to “follow the spirit”. But he couldn’t, in good conscious, just say that to the mallard out loud.
“Uh… I don’t know.”
“YOU DON’T FRICKING KNOW!?”
Quest sighed, putting a palm in his hand.
“The best plan I got is the one we’ve been doing thus far; try to find a road and maybe hitchhike.”
They came to a road after much trekking about the countryside. Thank goodness that they weren’t near any sizable mountains.
“See any signs?”
“No…”
The mallard took a huge sigh as he looked back and forth across the road. His head drifted to the sky.
“Y’know, now that I think of it, why can’t we just fly?”
Quest looked at the mallard.
“You make a good point…”
Truth be told, Quest had just gotten comfortable wearing his pullover sweater and he didn’t want to take it off…
“… but maybe it’s about the journey over the destination?”
A huge “Hmph.” Came out of the mallard’s bill.
And so, Quest, with the mallard, started to try and find someone who’d pick them up.

I had to look up a gait image for this b/c it kept looking like he was running. Anyway, this is Questduck. You might recognize him from 42's image.
He originally just a stock mascot image thing that one of my Dad's friends then reinterpreted and then I reinterpreted.
He was actually made for my Dad's youth group, "Questing for God" was the motto.
Now, my Dad's church is demolished (save for some stained-glass windows that were repurposed in other buildings), so the story-line I have for this guy is that he's looking for the guy who made him.
Along the way, he learns how to be a bird.
