Just caught up on acid soup and I'm just. So glad you addressed the imbalance between sweat and lowrys relationship bc it always freaked me out a lil. I'm on board now
YEAH it was always something that needed to be talked about, and they STILL have a really long way to go - it’ll come in bits and pieces throughout the ongoing plot. there are imbalances both ways and things that they each need to individually work out before they can really interact w each other in a truly healthy and constructive way, and a big part of acid soup is gonna be navigating that kind of stuff
the little throat sings - a mix for sweat from acid soup
listen
i finished this thing as asscrack in the morning and figured i should post it now
what if i started doing these
i just wanna let you know that im in love w how you use color in acid/rabit soup ,,, do you have a specific method to picking color pallets?
thank you!!! i’m having tons of fun with color in this quest
this diagram is probably SUPER CONFUSING but one of the things i do is i keep colors that i use frequently saved in a palette in sai
and then i make sure that some of the colors are shared between characters, if that makes sense?? so the whole quest kind of has a cohesive palette but character color palettes are still pretty separate
even if i do something kind of wild and subjective with color i try to keep it limited to the quest’s overall palette - like, the green color i’ve been using for the sky/ambient lighting in these past few updates is the same as sweat’s eyes. so even if i seemingly pull a color out of nowhere it’s still tied into the quest’s palette as a whole
[listening to alone again or.. and trying to figure out if its a lowry sweat song]
me, screaming my god damn head off alone in my room at 1 am
why is sweat named Sweat? Did it choose that name for itself or was it called that because it was...sweaty
it’s a combination of both! it named itself and it just decided to pick a name that was. descriptive
now lowry and ne have blogs too! i cannot be stopped @stupidpieceofshitblogname @monodick u should send them asks
