INKY MYSTERY YEAAAAARGH
hello everyone i just remembered that this is tumblr and that the inky mystery audience is here so i'm posting my IM doodles (plus my thoughts) here!! i drew all of these last year so they're a bit old but i thought they'd be fun to post regardless!!!
finding out about IM was . very eye opening and i can't even lie i was really nervous getting into it considering my past experiences with. og quest. BUT Inky Mystery took the concept of quest and just RAN WITH IT in SUCH A GOOD WAY. i love all the worldbuilding and characterization and oough its just. so much better
anyway those first two pictures were of me trying to get used to drawing the characters again after four years LOL

NOW FOR THE REST OF THESE. all of these doodles have their chapter names written right next to them so if you ever wondered what moment each doodle occurred in you can go check for yourself!
not sure if i should put spoilers for like. chapters 200+ but at the same time if you haven't read till then, then what are you doing looking at this post LOL (i guess that's your warning...)
side note about this one: i loved how creative they got with all of the "short" names that bendy called himself LOL + i loved the reasoning they gave behind him having all of these synonyms/sayings for short! in og quest it sort of felt like a little cringe gag but in IM they fully indulged in the idea and made it so much better
CHAPTER 159 DOODLES
i remember really liking this chapter because the duos got split and you got to see their dynamics with each other! also the idea of just being stuck with a room full of shadows was a pretty cool visual to me
CHAPTER 200+ DOODLES
without a doubt, out of everything that i remember in IM, the labyrinth arc was my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. like it especially made me appreciate boris more because WOW they ACTUALLY USED HIM AS A CHARACTER... also all the time jumping stuff was mind melding but it really made me appreciate the earlier chapters of the arc a lot more!! like, the parts where i thought there was a fake boris ONLY to find out it was REAL BORIS from WAY BEYOND IN THE FUTURE? SO COOL...
i was actually going to make an entire animation/animatic? thing based off of the entire labyrinth arc. maybe i'll post it? but as it stands right now its completely unfinished & 40 seconds long .... but hey! i mean im not planning to work on it any time soon and i'm pretty proud of how it looks so far... so maybe one day...
anyway i also really liked all the bonding moments after chapter 200 & beyond! you never got that with og quest because it ended before they got to do anything with the first item but they were just. really nice to read :) especially all the moments of cuphead being more caring since og quest wrote him to be a stereotypical badboy LOL

So I'll admit. i actually haven't been catching up on IM for the past year after feeling that the chapters past 300 felt like filler but i've been considering on catching up again... seems like things are really brewing up in there...
well, if i ever do, i'll post more doodles here! thanks for reading my insane ramblings LOL
