At some point over their lifetime, each and everyone of those units will likely experience the effects of “Controller Drift”, “Stick Drift” or just plain “Drift” as this failure mode has come to be widely known.
Drift manifests itself in all sorts of interesting ways related to players’ movement and interactions in virtual reality (VR). Examples include; constantly turning in one direction, moving in the opposite direction from intended, being unable to move in one or more directions or even being unable to move at all. Each of these are common examples of the dreaded Controller Drift.
