“Who decides what is beautiful?”
You do. Everyone has their own way of interpreting and seeing things, so everyone perceives art differently. I could find something that is truly beautiful but someone else could find the flaws in it. So it really depends on the individual and to be honest I don't really think there's a definition to beauty and there can be beauty and everything
“How have the tools and materials of assist changed over time?”
I'm actually in art history class so I'm learning a lot about tools and materials artist use in the early Renaissance and Gothic era. And I learned about how pigmented came from eggs, dirt or food. And now we can buy markers at our local store so it has changed a lot and has come a really really long way.
