Simon ends up dying and Raphael lives. A century later Simon gets reincarnated and Raphael sees him again and thinks it's him and ends up freaking out this guy who feels like he somehow knows Raph
Raphael would probably keep checking up on this boy, who looks like Simon but isn't. It hurts to see him again, but Raphael can't help but keep going back. He promises himself that he won't let anything bad happen this time, and the rest of the clan knows to stay away from the boy who looks like Simon. It turns out the boy is similiar to the fledgling though, because one day he walks right up to Raphael and asks who he is and why he feels like he knows him, and Raphael has to run. He doesn't let the boy see him again after that, or get that close, but he keeps watch over him for the rest of his life, making sure he's happy and safe.
