"This looks amazing!" you exclaim as you take a look at the finished tree, a smile appearing on your face. You and Eddie had just finished decorating his trailer and you even bought a cute little tree for him.

"I don't think this shithole of a home has ever looked better, darling," he says, earning a smack on his arm from you.

"Don't talk like that about the trailer, it's pretty cool you know," you defend, earning a laugh from the man standing beside you. "Okay, maybe it does look like shit half the time but at least it's a home," you explain, and he nods.

"That I can agree on, my love," he mutters, side-hugging you and pressing a kiss against your cheek. Just then your phone starts ringing, your sister's name displaying on the screen.

"I have to take this," you murmur, pressing the accept button. "Hola, que tal?" you ask, taking a couple of steps away from Eddie. The spanish catches him off guard, making him look at you weirdly. You're done with the call in a couple of minutes, saying your goodbyes and returning back to your original place.

"Hold on… you're bilingual?"

"Yes?"

"Wow, I can't believe it took me this long to figure that out," Eddie chuckles, wrapping his hands around your waist and pulling you closer. "But I love it," he whispers, before guiding your lips into a loving kiss.

"Oh, you little shit, is that how you want to do this?" Pietro asks in a joking tone, making you bark out a laugh. Turning around you run through the door opposite of where he's standing, passing a couple of wondering agents on the way to the kitchen. You know you're no match for him, he has super speed but it doesn't mean you're not going to try.

"You'll never get me!" you shout over your shoulder once you reach a safe distance (well, safe for normal human beings).

"Really? I'll never get you?" he says, suddenly appearing in front of your face, making you stop abruptly. You take in a sharp breath, your heart skipping a beat from the surprise.

"Jeez, Pietro, don't scare me like that," you mutter but before he could even register what you said he already has you in his arms, picking you up bride style and is now running through the compound. You scream as the boy uses his super-speed, going too fast for your liking. "Pietro Maximoff, put me down right this second," you order, a smirk appearing on his face, your words only making him go faster. "Piet, I swear to god-"

"Okay, okay, putting you down right now," he replies, coming to a halt and releasing you from his arms, the smirk on his lips not fading even for a second.

"Please never do that again," you sigh, putting a hand to your chest. You're not mad, not at all, he just scared you. Yet looking back at it now, you realise it was kind of fun.

"You sure you weren't enjoying it, love?" he questions with that thick socovian accent of his, the one that made you fall head over heels for the blonde all those months ago.

"I hate it when you know what I'm thinking," you reply, a small smile on your face. It does annoy you a lot but it's kind of sweet, knowing that he knows you so well.

"I always know what you're thinking," is the only thing he notes before picking you up once again, running off to somewhere, no particular destination in his mind.

"Happy birthday, my love!" Yelena yells out as you enter your shared apartment, not even taking off your jacket as her sweet voice greets you.

"What's going on?" you ask in disbelief, a big grin on your face. Taking a look around the room, you notice the two plates on the coffee table, you favourite movie playing on the screen. there are two glasses of wine, one on each side of the plates.

"Figured you'd have a long day at work and wouldn't want to go out so I settled on this," she explains, her expression mirroring yours. Your hands run up to cover your mouth, mostly because you don't know what to do with them, feeling so many emotions at once. The fact that she knows you so well, that she prepared all of this... just for you.

"Yelena, this is... i'm truly spechless," you giggle, feeling slight tears fighting to escape.

"So you like it?" she asks, that playful spark in her eyes. You almost scoff at her question because who the hell wouldn't like a present like this?

"Do I like it? I freaking love it! And I love you, so much," you add, practically running to her and chrashing your lips on hers. She smiles into the kiss, guiding you to the sofa where you'll spend the rest of this perfect evening.

"It's pretty cold out here," you say as you stop at a bench, sitting down. It's pretty late already, you and Natasha going back home after your first date.

"Yeah," she replies, her face hardly visible, only illuminated by the moonlight. The light makes her look so pretty, not being able to see her expression yet it makes her eyes glow.

"You look beautiful tonight," you shyly comment, a small smile appearing on your face.

"Really?"

"I mean you always look beautiful every day but tonight there's just something special about you. You look... calm," you reply, a sudden wave of confidence hitting you, taking her hand in yours. A car driving by lights up her face, making you catch a glimpse of her blushing face, your smile only growing because of it.

"It's because I am calm. Peaceful, even," she explains, looking away into the night sky.

"I'm glad," you speak after a few minutes, looking away from her too.

You can feel the wetness his tears provide, making you want to just go and scream at Wade for doing this to your boyfriend. "I'm gonna kill him,"

"Of course you will," he murmurs, you leading the two of you to sit on the bed.

"I'm serious, Rafe,"

"I know. And I'm forever grateful for that," he comments, pressing a sweet kiss on your neck before looking up, the sadness in his eyes breaking something in you too, wanting nothing but to hold him and whisper sweet nothings into his ear until he feels better.
