Vergil had known for a little while about the truth of him and Nero’s relationship. Most of his memories had been a blur after he escaped the Demon Realm after he broke free of his Nelo Angelo form. A few years after the defeat of Mundus at the hands of his brother Dante, Vergil finally had his chance for escape and he didn’t waste it -- he took it and was successful at breaking out. All it took was the reclaiming of his Devil Arm the Beowulf Light Gauntlets then he easily took down the guarding demons.

Not long ago was the incident with The Order Of The Sword where he found out the location of his Yamato blade. He wanted it back. He was still alive and Nero had his own sword he didn’t feel that Nero was ready for the blade, besides it was his so he would have no problem getting it back, but he was pretty sure Nero wouldn’t be too happy with him taking his sword back but he wasn’t going to let his own kin stop him. He approached the youth while hidden within a full body cloak. He waited a few seconds before he grabbed it and threw it off revealing himself.

[{☠}] - “I have things to do so I’ll make this quick, I’m here to take back my sword. I suggest you hand it back to me.” The cambion demanded.

Being a drifter, Vergil came across many different kinds of people. He did travel from town to town, that’s what being a DRIFTER was all about after all. Because he usually traveled with a full body cloak covering him up people just treated him normally and said nothing and minded their own business and passed him by casually. Vergil preferred it that way, no one was there to slow hi down and get in his way. So he just went on about his travels as nothing more than a ghost unseen to the world around him. Hearing that there would be a storm forecast on the way he decided to book a room at the local inn so he could stay here for the night as the storm passed.

Hours later the dark clouds were setting in slowly covering up the night sky hiding the stars and the wonderful sight of the moon. Deciding to take one more walk outside before the storm started Vergil exited the inn and walked around the town -- the streets were dead because of the late hour and the oncoming bad weather. Suddenly his walk was interrupted by the sight of a disguised demon. Not wanting any possibly trouble from this demon Vergil unsheathed his blade and channeled energy into his sword unleashing his infamous move called the Judgement cut. He had successfully killed the demon but at the same time destroyed an odd green looking pipe.

As soon as the top part of the pipe fell off it revealed some kind of portal, the power of the portal was pulling him and there was no way he could escape in, Vergil ended up being sucked up by the vortex unsure of where it lead to, after that was nothing but darkness. Moments later he woke up in a place that clearly was different from any other placed he had been. Giant Mushrooms everywhere. Green pipes everywhere he looked and even what looked like yellow turtle with green shells on theirs backs accompanied by short brown creatures without hands and only feet that had shoes.

All he could do was move on and try to figure out where he was. After wandering around for a little bit he spotted a castle and proceeded to explore in that direction eventually ending up in the castle courtyard. Before he could take another step he was stopped by a soft feminine voice behind him. Looking over his shoulder he saw a beautiful woman with golden blonde hair and a pink dress, it was easy to tell she was of royalty.

[{☠}] - “You are correct, I am indeed not from here.”

Life on the road was always tough to adjust to, but at this point, he had been doing it for so long it practically began to feel normal for him. It was almost like he was living the life of an escaped convict. Always on the run, having to change towns within a week and avoiding being hunted. Hunted by lackeys of the two remaining generals of the late Prince Of Darkness Mundus. Every day for him was just another day on the run and despite being used to it, he was growing tired of it. Many demon bounty hunters were trying to hunt him down and kill him. Not a day would go by without him ending up in a fight against one. This would continue over the span of five months.

Thankfully, after those five months, things finally seemed to die down and his trail was kept cold letting him finally be able to enjoy his resurfacing in the human world without issues this time. Arriving at an unknown city, Vergil booked himself a room in a good hotel for two weeks so he could bask in the peace while he still had it. Eventually, the bounty hunters would find him, but that wouldn’t be for a while since he had covered his tracks well.

After dropping off his things at his room, he left the hotel and decided to see what this city had to offer at night. As he walked on, he passed a crime scene with flashing red and blue lights, looking on he saw the police had someone in the back of the squad car already so the suspect was already caught. From the scene, he saw a young woman leaving the scene heading in his direction. Immediately he felt a very strange power within her which piqued his curiosity even more.
