Shoki stood at attention in the harbor of Melemele Island, a one strap sack over his shoulder, and Jango on the other, also standing straight on her small back legs and looking around. It was quite busy- it always has since opening it’s doors to boats from the other regions.
Local pokemon scurried around in the crowd, and pikipeks chirped from trees and the skies above. It was relaxing as ever, the sound of the ocean and the smell of the salty water hitting his nose as waves caressed the bottom and sides of the cruise liners and fishing boats. But he wasn’t here for vacation, or even to see his friend Soliel.
No, he was waiting for a friend, his friend Nancy, to show up so they could experience (and see in her case) the oricario together. He sighed through his nose, still not picking up on her aura, and Jango still hadn’t smelled or caught sight of her yet.
“Any sight of her yet Jang?” He asked the lizard pokemon, and she only chirped in return, a short sound that he knew meant “no.” “She’ll come soon.” the teen responded, back to looking out and hoping he wasn’t wrong. He was sorta looking forward to this.
