Random headcanon: There are at least 10 self inflicted tarkatan injuries a year. Most are caused by arm-blades, from impalement to pulling on the blade near the root(where the blade comes out). The last death caused by one's own arm-blade happened 50 plus years ago, a soldier who was scratching the side of his head with the tip of his blade and without thought, unsheathed his blade stabbing himself through the skull.

The second cause for accidental injuries are by their teeth. Some tend to bite down to hard and stab their gums, bite themself in their sleep or worse consume a peice of their own flesh in the process.

Being a tarkatan ain't easy.

real name: Millikan Mosi

▌single or taken: Millikan 

▌abilities or powers: Born with arm-blades and teeth like regular Tarkatan, Millikan is just as skilled a fighter as his father. Possibly better in some aspects. Aside from his usual Tarkatan fight style, Millikan also trained in other techniques, his favorite being Muay Thai, nothing hurts worst then a knee to the face and Millikan has strong ass legs. He does like to wrestle, he took down Jabari a few times during their sparring sessions. Millikan can use sais and a sword, both who he learned from his mother. He can also teleport which proves quite troublesome for the unprepared opponent, a teleporting muscle bound tark, oh hell.

▌hair colour: Raven black, only grows on the left side of his head.

▌family members: Father- Baraka, Mother-Mileena. Has three blood related brothers and one adopted sister Kali whom he favors over all his siblings.

▌thoughts on marriage/kids: Millikan is not opposed to marriage, he will get married if its part of his partner custom. But he doesn’t like to be tied down completely since tarkatan way of life is polygamous. He willing to put up with it for awhile, but a tark like him can handle the ball-and-chain for so long. He hopes to have kids of his own someday

▌style preferences: Millikan is a mix of tarkatan attire and other cultures that mostly consist of pants and dress shirts. He sometimes wear a silk mask in public, mostly for the sake of others.

▌approach to friendships: Millikan is extroverted so he has plenty of friends, some who use to be enemies or now his closest comrades.

▌abilities or powers: Baraka has two arm-blades that protrude from his forearms, born with them Baraka is really skilled in close range combat proving to be a deadly combatant with his blades causing serious damage. Aside from his arm-blades, Baraka also uses his long shark like teeth to tear into his opponents whenever the opportunity arises. He prefers close kombat, Baraka does have one ability to shoot sparks at long range targets by snapping his blades together. His arm-blades are mostly bone, he also uses an enchantment to turn them into metal which makes it easier to cut his enemies with.

▌family members: Main verse, Two mates and five children. (here’s the link to learn more about his family) His father Badrill is still alive, serving as one of the tarkatan elders. His uncle Msia lives among his tribe as a healer. 

▌pets: He recently got a pet rat from his son Millikan, he named the rat Dru. 

▌something they don’t like: Being told to calm down, disloyalty.

▌hobbies/activities: Leather working, hunting, carving wooden figurines.

▌thoughts on marriage/kids: As the a tribe leader, Baraka has a few mates over the years. He loves children despite the fact that he has different approach when it comes to his boys and girls, He’s tougher on the boys and is obvious hes has a big soft spot for girls, especially with his daughter Kali.

▌fears: Losing his family, losing his ability to fight.

▌style preferences: Most of Baraka wardrobe consists of leather pants or loin cloths and shorts. The closest thing to dressing up would be a silk top and leather kilt.

▌someone they love: Chane, the only mate that been with him since the very beginning. Started as childhood rivals turned to lovers then life mates.

▌approach to friendships: Baraka doesn't mind making new friends, but he rather fight them first before anything else. Quickest way to get to know someone by sparring with them.

▌thoughts on pie: Its okay but not a fan

▌favourite place to spend time at: A secluded Oasis which is located a few miles from the kamp.

▌their type: The first thing Baraka is attracted to is a person fighting spirit, a pretty face is nice to look at but if they have no will to fight for themselves, he look elsewhere.

Tilting his head as he watched the shipment fall through a portal, the tark general snarled as he looks over to Hasani who shrugged, Not sure what to say about the situation nor had any advice for it at the moment. Baraka looks back to the woman with furrowed brows, already more annoyed then angry. 

“You have no idea how respect works in outworld do you?: Baraka said with snicker. “Fine, lets start from the beginning. You first.”

Baraka nodded in understanding, he imagine she was still getting use to thing around here. Can’t imagine it was easy for her, being in a different realm and among a completely different race of beings that were not the best at welcoming outsiders. Still she was lucky to have run into the nice ones, at least the ones who wasn’t ready to bite first and ask questions later. So far, Riley presence among the Tarkatan was nice aside from the troubles they encountered along the way. 

“Hn?” Baraka took note of the worried look on Riley face, he could sense something was off. He took a step closer to her and held out his right hand. “Something is troubling you, speak?”

“Raymond is it, can you show to the closest portal back to Outworld.” Baraka wasn’t one to ask for help but he knew how to swallow his pride when the time comes. He misplaced his portal stone and needed to find another way back home.
