“I can’t just leave you like this ori'vod,” Wolffe said he had offered to watch Cody while Rex was away, and the Wolfpack commander -despite the fact that he was still dealing with his General’s death- had agreed to come.
His stomach had churned when he saw the state Cody was in. He never imagined he would see his brother in such a state, shaking and stumbling for words. He’d always been a strong man and seeing his fellow commander like this made Wolffe sick to the stomach. He didn’t feel sick at Cody though, he was sick at the Kaminoan’s, at the Emperor and those that had ordered their creation for doing this to them. He could almost taste bile in his mouth now.
Wolffe steeled his nerves and remained there, only leaving his side to go to the fresher and find a hand towel to coak with water and use to wipe some of the blood away. He’d seen a similar case with Boost and Sinker, and it had torn him to see them that way as well. As much as Cody told him to leave however, Wolffe refused to leave
"Its not permanent Cody...” he assured. “It’ll stop soon, but until then Rex and I aren’t leaving your side.”
