dooffan replied to your post:Did you see some of my Comic Con pics? I still have some more. I feel like, no one really wants to see them.
How do you Queue?
Ok, when you have a post ready, instead of hitting on "Post", click on the downward arrow next to it. It will give you a drop-down menu with options to
Post now
Add to queue
Schedule (I still don't quite get how to do this one so we'll ignore it)
Save as draft
Post privately
Select "Add to queue".
Next, go to your side menu and select "Queue". It will take you to your queued post list, and you can select how many posts per day you want in the queue, and at what time they start showing up. I have mine set for posting 3 a day between 12:00 pm and 12:00 am. (Noon to midnight, basically.) You, of course, can select to post as many as you want whenever you want.
If you really want people who follow you to see your posts, make sure they're queued for a time when they're likely to log on.
I know this might be a strange question to ask, But how does queue work? And how do you set It up? Sometimes I'm away from Tumblr for a few hours and I keep thinking that I could set queue up but I'm not sure how to.
No that’s actually a really good question, you’re not the first that i’ve helped out with this particular thing actually, so don’t worry about it at all! :)Oh the Queue, it’s my best friend, it is a life savior. xD It can hold 300 photos for you at a time, and you can set it to post a maximum of 50 photos in the time frame of how ever long you want it to run for, that being said the maximum run time is only 12 hours. (I usually just set mine up for 50 photos from 12am to 12pm and then again 50 photos from 12pm to 12am)
To set up your queue, you just go down your dash and when you find a photo you like, rather than clicking the reblog button, click the queue button (it should look like a clock) and it will go in there. Then once you feel you have enough to keep you happy, then you go into your queue (your queue will show up underneath where your DRAFTS are in your dashboard sidebar once you have at least one photo in there)Change your queue to the amount of hours you’re going to be gone off of tumblr for. Keep an eye on the posting times scheduled beside each photo because this is pretty much just fiddling around and finding the amount of minutes in between each picture posting (i usually try to make my posts section out at least 10-20 minutes apart from each other. This usually just happens automatically when you choose to post 50 photos in time time frame of 12 hours.) :) and once you’ve found your happy medium, click SAVE and you’ve successfully set up your queue!Hope that helped <3 Take care and have a good one xx
