Is it bad that that scene feels like a weird blip that didn’t really... happen? Like, I know it happened; I watched it. But because it felt so out of place, even within the rest of the episode where Tutor and Fighter were acting like themselves again generally speaking, it’s like my brain can’t piece that into the storyline? Like episode 11 felt like them, up to the very end when they broke up, then that scene happened which felt like some alternate universe of them, and then it felt like them again in the school and for the rest of the episode. Am I even making sense? And I’m annoyed because I’m pissed that that scene happened, but I also did enjoy the rest of the episode because again, I feel like I’m struggling to actually fit it into the story they were showing us. Honestly, even Fighter crying on the floor fits in my head but the non-consensual kissing and groping was just so out of place and unnecessary. I think we’re all processing the episode differently and handling it differently, but this is where I am at right now.
Putting my thoughts into words is so hard after this episode. I’m just frustrated that they put us all in this situation by creating a scene like that. Especially because, ignoring that one scene for a second, the rest of the episode was honestly really beautiful. UGH.
