aetharafm is an appless fantasy style roleplay with an original storyline that draws inspiration from many works of fiction. writers aged 21+ are welcome to join as the citizens of the continent descend upon the court of aurelion as the ancient games commence once more for glory and power. when competitors begin to go missing mysteriously the games are paused. fear and tensions climb to an all time high as members from each court are now being asked not to leave the city of aureth. the arrival of vampires sets the fear in, this species was long forgotten by the fae of the continent and mistrust can be found in every crevice of the palace.

Spring is delayed, the sun in Xyria remains dark and non-nourishing, starving lives and magic across Xyria. The first sign of withering magic on the magical nation came in small, nearly uninspiring incidents: a couple of expiring potions here, several failing spells there, failing broomsticks from the sky wasn’t exactly a common occurrence, though it could be related to a couple of bad spells going about. Then came a mortal cruise ship crash landed into the magic nation, bringing with it humans who had only encountered magic through the words of fictions and technologies that threaten to expose magic to the world. Could the Xyrian authorities cast aside their differences in the face of disaster to preserve their secret existence in the world?

Wide Awake is a high-fantasy site which has a focus on the demonic war that has been ongoing for nearly 2 millennial. The nation of Xyria is the only magical land left in the modern world and a sanctuary for mages and some demons alike as the rest of the world moved on with its modern ways. In the magical world, we have different plots going on, including a political one, and some danger lurking and waiting for a chance to cross over to the human world to cause havoc. We feature light activity and is open to welcome a diverse range of characters. As a 3-2-3 roleplay site, we welcome players who’d like to focus on stories telling and world building with each other, aiming for this community to be a place where all of our characters grow and develop with each interaction and event they go through on the land of Xyria.
