Hear me out, but I think it’s much easier for the Ducktales fandom to understand the true horror of Vladimir Nabokov’s Lolita than any other fandom (including the ‘Lolita fandom’, so to speak). All because of this little quote:
“In reality, Lolita is a little girl of twelve, whereas Humbert Humbert is a mature man, and it’s the abyss between his age and that of the little girl that produces the vacuum, the vertigo, the seduction of mortal danger.”

And this brings us back to the Ducktales fandom because our vision of the ‘little girl of twelve’ is this:

In short, I always complained about how small the preteens were in relation to the adults, now I think that was a pretty good choice.
