“Meh?” Beck repeated, amusement coloring his tone as eyebrows rose and lips twisted into a small smile.

“Didn’t that word die out years ago?”  The type of word thrown around by exhausted college students staring into the abyss of the syllabus and seeing their sins of procrastination staring back. A silent cry for help.

Not flashing through, and making a mess of dust, tools and ancient reliques. “Did a goddamned helicopter just enter this tiny room ?!” He flicked his hands and purple flames wrapped around them. When The Alchemist turned back, however, he caught the glimpse of Ian.
