Hey everyone - I'm looking for a beta reader for my original m/m romance novel (approx 70k). I'm not looking for an in depth edit as I've got an editor booked, but more a reaction to the story/characters/writing etc and seeing what you think (I've read it so much I can't tell anymore). It's a sports romance with lots of fluff, smut and some angst. There are also brief mentions of homophobia as well - it's also British set too.

I had totally intended to spend my Christmas break writing and eating and playing games... except I caught a horrible stomach bug instead... I'm so tired I could sleep for a month and can't even look at a computer 😭😭

On a side note, if you’re a not great place today - whether you have to deal with horrendous family/people you can’t stand or you’re feeling a bit blue or you have social anxiety and the idea of spending a day with a ton of people makes you feel awful - you’re always welcome to drop me a message - even if you just want someone to vent at.

I've just had the best evening playing with facepaints and having a practice for Halloween!!
This is the first time I've used facepaints since I was a kid and it was so awesome - I wanna do more now!

If you're going to leave a comment on someone's work criticising their grammar, maybe you should make sure your post isn't full of grammatical/spelling errors... it really takes away from the effect.
