Melpomene- Muse of Tragedy.

This edit has alot of meaning in terms of tragedy.

It is a tragedy that it is now 2013 and we can no longer be loved and accepted for being the person we want to be.

If you are not like the others, you are rejected, you are turned away, you are treated like the scum of the earth because you are not unorginal like society is itself.

You loose you innocense the day you figure out that you can no longer be yourself because being yourself is too hard and it makes you feel uneasy being in your own skin.

You conform to society because society is a safe haven.

You can’t be judged becuase you turn out like everyone else.

But the moment you become comfortable in your own skin, someone comes around and knocks you down with the words of,”Being yourself is simply not enough.”

So yes, its a tragedy that our peers cannot accept us for who we want to be.

They lur us into the ways that they have conformed to themselves.

You try your hardest to fight the conforming, but it’s just to hard and you can no longer handle the pain that comes with being your original self.
