Amy Week: Day 4

I missed Day 3, and I'm kinda late today, that's my mistake lost track of time.

Anyways, today I'm sharing my favorite Amy Rose momenrs. In no particular order.

Obviously, I love this whole scene with Amy and Shadow in SA2, it's one of her best character moments and there's nothing I can say about how good this scene is that hasn't already been said. Though I will admit, removing the nostalgia googles, this scene's a bit cheesy.

This panel from issue 58 of the IDW comics, solely because I love any scene that shows how much of a strong bad ass Amy is. She's so cool.

Any literally any scene with these three in Sonic Prime. They were the best part of season 3, and I will fight people over this.

If you recall last year, I did a silly little thing I called "Quilovember" celebrating the various hedgehog (And adjacent) characters of the Sonic universe, due to both my love of the series, the various characters, and hedgehogs as a animal.

Well, I'm happy to say I'm doing it again!

Rules are the same as last year, Four weeks each dedicated to a character, a post every day (For real this time as I kinda messed up last year), a complete blog theme change to fit the character, and one bonus character each week. With two extra days for two of my favorite characters.

Quilovember Bonux Day 1:

SURGE THE TENREC

My darling Baby. I love her so much. And a Tenrec is close enough to a hedgehog.

I really, really, like Surge, I think she's one of the most interesting characters in the franchise (Disagree if you must), and has so much potential. I long for the day we see her in a game, but until then, I will continue to mod her into literally every game I can.

I intended to give Surge her own day last year, but due to circumstances beyond my control, I couldn't. I promised that'd I'd do something this year in return.

So take this unfinished art. It's a redraw of my personal favorite art of Surge.

This week is Amy Rose's week!

So here's the Intro:

My first experience with Amy was through the series "Sonic X" It was one of my few gateways into the series as a kid, as I didn't have Internet and so could only see what was on TV, and what few games I had.

Something about Amy was always incredibly entertaining to me, I always liked her high energy, and was never really put off by her. I really liked her as a character, and when I got my hands on more games with her, that feeling only grew.

And to this day, even at her lowest points in terms of writing, Amy is still one of my favorite characters of all time.

Amy Week: Day 5!

Our first surprise theme change of the month!

This one's quite the Classic.

Because it's Classic Amy.

I know, I know, bad pun. But I quite like Classic Amy, all jokes aside, she's got a cute design and I'm even tempted to say I like it better than her modern design. However I do still prefer her character depiction in modern games.

Funnily enough, despite both Amy and Metal Sonic being two of my all time favorite characters in the series, Sonic CD was the last of the Classic games I ever played, only playing it in the mid 2010s. It's also one of my least favorite games in the series.

Silver Week: Day 1

First day of Silver's week, the absolute coolest Hedgehog to ever exist. Fight me.

My first every interaction with Silver was through the Fandom, And this was earlier years, So initially having no actual idea of who he was I bought into the whole agenda that Silver sucked. It wasn't until I got to play Sonic 06 myself for the first time that I actually got to know Silver as a character, and he quickly became one of my favorites, he's a large reason 06 is my favorite Sonic game in spite of all it's flaws.

It'd be beating a dead horse to say how underutilized Silver is, I mean he has a Major role in only two canon Plotlines, his Debut, and the Metal Virus Arc.

I really do hope we see Even more of Silver in the future, and he gets another Major role. Because I love Silver, he's even my most played character in Crossworlds.

Amy Week: Day 2

Drawing is really freaking hard. So while I struggle through hell trying to draw Amy Rose, have this amazing Panel I found while looking for inspo. I now have to live knowing I will never draw anything even 8 quarters as good.
