Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday!

Last week, I finally got around to digitizing some of my hand writing samples for quilt labelling! It has been a goal of mine to get this process started for over a year now, and once I started working on it, I found that tracing my letters went along really quickly and easily!

I'm really happy with how the digital samples have turned out and wanted to show off a bit of my process on the Fibre Arts blog!

Now to wait on a response from my email inquiry ... impatiently, of course.

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday!

The last week has been pretty quiet since I was stricken with the plague, but I'm feeling much better now and am excited to share an update on my custom stencil progress!

I've picked up my stencils from the Studio that made them for me; Muddaritaville; and have had a chance to test them out!

I'm really pleased with how they turned out and am looking forward to sharing my test of that sample with all of you! Please let me know your thoughts and if you've ever done any stencil printing yourself!

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday!

After an unplanned break, I'm back on the blog this week with an update to my quilt labelling efforts!

I'm not quite at the end of my testing phase yet, but I definitely feel like I'm getting close to something I'm happy with! Hopefully I'll get the whole system figured out by the end of the Summer and will be able to get some labels onto my finished quilts!

Hello Friends and Happy Tuesday!

This week, I’m getting started on one if my goals for this season; labelling my quilts.  So far, I have only labelled the one quilt I sent to Quilt Canada a few years ago and all others have gone without. 

But labelling them is actually quite important to me as an artist because a label provides a lot of important information about who was involved in the making of the quilt and when the quilt was made!
