Well I have all the blocks made to complete three quilts! (42 maple blocks 42 plain blocks) Yayyy! I am five days ahead! Now I can begin cutting sashing and borders! Will keep you posted! I haven’t posted about the blocks since Thursday, but have no fear! I am still on schedule! Since I am making the same block, I figured that would be a little boring so bought I would wait a few days! Anyway I am actually ahead of the game by three blocks! I officially have enough blocks for one quilt so far, but I am continuing on with blocks before assembling! I keep thinking of the soldier’s I am making them for, and it warms my heart ❤️ and thinking of how I am going to personalize each one. I finished three blocks today, actually six because I also did three of the plain block too! I am officially on track on day two 🤣🤣🤣 we will see if it continues. Spent the day cutting out squares for 3 quilts! I guess since I am making 3, I will have to do 3 blocks a day!! I did 1 maple leaf blocks and 5 plain blocks. CHALLENGE! I am starting another Quilts of Valour. I have several in mind to make them for, so what better time to get started. I challenge anyone who would like to do it along with me, a block a day! I am going to make a maple leaf block(from my pattern “Maple Leaf Two-Step) a day using “Oh Canada” 🇨🇦 fabric until I have enough to make all four quilts!
